A Tribute: 16 years later after the Twin Towers attacks.
This Monday will be the 16th anniversary of the Twin Towers attacks, executred by terrorist group Al Qaeda, on September 11th, 2001. Let’s remember that on that day 3.000 people died and other 6.000 got injured, and that a total of 40.000 were inside the towers. Ever since that day, New York maintains an antiterrorism unit, formed by with 2.000 specialized members.
This Monday a tribute was made in Washington for those people who lost their life during this sad event. There was a moment of silence in The White House at 8:46 local time.
Donald Trump and his wife will assist to the Pentagon to a ceremony of honor to the 3.000 mortal victims that this attempts caused to them and their families, and the impact they caused to the whole world that it´s still astonishing even 16 years later.
