Valentines Day
Initially, they celebrate as a Western Christian feast to honor a saint named Valentinus, Valentine's Day is recognized as a significant cultural, religious, and commercial celebration of romance and romantic love in many regions around the world, although it is not a public holiday in any country.
In most Latin American countries, for example, Costa Rica, Mexico and Puerto Rico, Saint Valentine's Day are known as Día de los Enamorados (day of lovers) or as Día del Amor y la Amistad (Day of Love and Friendship).
Every year Colegios Bosques we celebrate this day with a kermesse with food, flowers, giving each other's cards, chocolate, drinks candies, brownies, soda , the ¨slave ¨ selling where you pay for a person to eat a dinner with you in the first recess the 15th of February , all this usually happens in the last two hours of school, where with the money gained we use it for the graduation of the seniors of high school and our clients are the whole school.
